Doesn’t Muzak have no lyrics? Real Muzak would be an instrumental version of “The Rain, the Park, and Other Things” (that’s the Flower Girl song) churned out by studio musicians and made for the sole purpose of being played in places like elevators and dentist offices.

And Flower Girl is a good song, dammit.

I’ll never forget my dad hearing a Beatles song on his easy listening studio (yes, the Beatles were Muzaked). A minute later the original played on the rock station I was listening to. His comment was how much better his version was.
