I am always quick to point out to my Juniors that I am not a Baby Boomer, I’m a War Baby. I was born in 1944! That distinction may be lost of some but growing up we were the last class to use the old textbooks, the old sports equipment, and the old teachers, for example, while the kids a year younger got all the cool new stuff.

The youth yells “Hey Boomer” while being blind to the many failings of the younger generations.
