My problem.. and here’s the dig… the utter lack of professionalism in hiring old relations is stupefying and irrelevant…. why are they all ‘exs’ and in the same field….? This would imply she was/is easy… that would bother me as her husband

I thought the business was to buy inventories of failing companies. So I assume they would need marketing people who would know how much to offer for 1,000 GE microwave ovens in a warehouse in Kanas City and how much they could sell them for, not computer geeks with no marketing experience.

Mike, stop being a baby. Instead, keep in mind that your extremely attractive partner had her choice of all of theze guys and choze you instead. Any reazonable adult would be proud of that.

You want skilled help, you gotta network. Simple.

Also helps to keep Mike on his game, knowing someone wants his place.

Kim has a very deep bench of old boyfriends.

Maybe they’re the only ones she could find who’d settle for the salary she and Mike are offering.

And if they’re EX-boyfriends, yet she still gets along with them, that means they’re still friends with her, and better to have employees who CARE about you, who would BE there for you (when the rain start to pour…) than employees to whom you’re nothing but a paycheck and who might bail on a moment’s notice. I would think.

Don’t worry mike, it’s obvious she’s not interested in people’s looks or she wouldn’t be with you.

I find it interesting how they (Trudeau or the publishers) have been hopping back and forth between 2000 and 2001 for at least the last 6 months, maybe longer? Some kind of love affair with the end of the dot com boom I suppose, maybe fear a loathing of getting past 9-11. Curious as to why ???
