One thing I love about this strip; even with dated reruns, it IS a political strip, and a perfect forum to vent one’s feelings about the affairs of the present day. I’m also very grateful that most posters share my negativity concerning the Orange Baboon!

BTW, I have noticed recently that politics have slipped into other strips—with no complaints from posters!

In my youth I used to assemble nuclear warheads for the U.S. Army, and to this day I still hate to hear anyone say “OOPS!”

Wouldn’t be surprised if Trudeau took inspiration here, conscious or unconscious, from that piece.

Havoc strikes me as exactly the kind of guy I’d like to think is in the CIA — dedicated, realistic, flexible, and competent. And yeah, that edginess he brings to the game probably works well, too.
