Shouldn’t somebody be watching her? This will cause problems in the future

Someone left the adult scissors out and that same someone forgot that April has the hand strength and coordination to make those adult scissors go “Snip. Snip” with just one hand. Once again, April is extremely impressive for a 3-year-old.

Interesting how the toddler can’t pronounce the letters ‘i’ and ‘r’ in the name April, but she has no difficulty pronouncing the same letters in the harder word ‘scissors’.

Isn’t “Aypo” supposed to be in day-care??

In any case, this is another example of Elly’s lack of supervision of her youngest.

They’re actually a pair of magical chameleon scissors. The handles change color at random…. Either that, or the colorist didn’t follow through from yesterday…

Here we go. I never had much use for kids scissors. They didn’t cut worth a darn but teachers and others kept giving me assignments or tests that require precision cutting and grading me so-so when the cuts were crappy.

Children can move faster than adults can think. I was sitting at the desk, filling my fountain pen while my daughter watched. In the five seconds it took me to wipe the ink off the nib and replace the top of the pen, Tina picked up the bottle and drank the ink.

Wow, I’m surprised they would leave “Aypo” unsupervised with something so dangerous lying around. Usually they keep a much closer eye on her.

Let’s see, what shall it be.

An emergency hair cut when April does some barbering on her own hair?

New drapes for the living room, when April decides to trim the drapes that are there now?

Farley goes to the groomer to even out the coat that April trims for him?

Tune in tomorrow to find out the answer:

Aypo is old enough to know and use the words “I” and “me.” And probably the world “April.”

People, especially toddlers, don’t refer to themselves in 3rd person unless they practice affectation. “I” and “me” are the first concepts they learn.
