It is his 100th birthday, not “would have been”. He’s just not here to celebrate with the rest of us.

Happy Birthday Charles “Sparky” Schultz. You have been my favorite cartoon since I was a child. My mom gave me a book full of your cartoons. Unfortunately, I lost it due to moving several times in my life.

This raises the question: When celebrities get to Heaven, are they still hounded by autograph seekers and paparazzi?

Several decades ago, when Charles Schulz was still alive and cartooning (21 January 1977, to be specific), Frank and Ernest ran one strip that showed Ernie sitting atop a doghouse and wearing a pilot’s leather helmet. Frank exclaimed, “Ernie! Does this mean you’re leaving this strip?”

So meet him then! Or, are you implying that he’s not there?? :(

This backfires. If everyone in Heaven would like to meet Charles Shultz, that indicates that no one in Heaven has met him, so where is he? That’d be impossible.

An heavenly tribute to a great man.

He was a good man, a great cartoonist, a patriot and a WWII Vet…..

I like this one the best of all the tributes.

If they haven’t met him in heaven, does that mean he’s in hell…?

Not sure that makes the best tribute.
