I remember a physics test in high school where one question was which weighs more, a pint of cream or a pint of milk? I answered cream because it’s thicker, i.e. had a “heavier” feel, but of course that was wrong. Cream floats on milk because it is less dense despite being more viscous.
“Homogenized milk has a creamier, more uniform texture, a whiter colour, a more pleasant taste, and greater foam-ability.” [Wikipedia] Some people these days would push for our dominant social class to be sort of this way. :/
