One of the finest images on social media this week is a picture of 2 or 3 inches of snow on top of a string of lights on top of a railing. Multi-colored glowing!
See, this is why I like Frazz. A lot of characters (In of course comic-necessitated exaggerated ways) remind me of my family. My sister was just saying her favorite lights were the ones that outlined houses and made them look like gingerbread houses. My dad also would 100% make that pun if the opportunity arose.
Coming home from the airport last evening, passed by a development with all the houses just alike, and just one had lights on the roofline. It stood like a beacon among all those houses…
Here’s wishing all who celebrate it a very Merry Christmas! And to those who celebrate something else may your day be filled with joy and happiness as well! to all of you be well and be safe! ;^)
While visiting my brother in LA, we drove around looking at the lights in his neighborhood. One house was covered with lights — around the roof, around the windows and door, over the bushes and trees. There was even a star the slid down a “star beam” from high over the roof to the ground. It was amazing. The house next door just had an arrow pointing at it that said “ditto”

Actually letting those remain could build up a ice dam and flood your ceiling from the roof .

A pun! A palpable pun!

This wonderful parody of the Pure Michigan tourism commercials sums it up at the end (mild coarse language):
“Stop and stare at the (rectum’s) house that has more Christmas lights than Clark Griswold’s!”

So … Santa along (with the reindeer) comes on Christmas eaves … and onto Christmas roofs and down Christmas chimneys to deliver Christmas presents.

I had to fire the roofer I hired. Not only did he try and listen in on my conversations, he was very clumsy. Yes, he was an eavesdropper.

Nothing says the true joy of Christmas for a young child like spending Christmas Eve hanging out with the school janitor.

Caulfield’s cap (even without flaps) makes him look a bit like Rocky the Flying Squirrel.
