I began to learn speaking English about 50 years ago. Seeing how much it changed in that time I wonder why it didn’t change that much from Dickens time of writing until then.
And I wonder: Will I be able to understand English in another 50 years from now, given I live that long?

Somehow, after getting thru dilly and dally, all that popped into my head was diddling. But I’m sure Bo Diddly had that covered.

If one got graded for wasting time, Caulfield would be a straight A student.
