You know you buy those multipacks of AA batteries and say you won’t live long enough to use them? My remote died today and I had exactly 2 batteries left in that pack. Now I have to risk buying another multipack
I always have to hide my remotes when the grandkids come for a visit, but we have kept some old ones that don’t work anymore so the kids can play with them without messing up my t.v.Between the cable t.v., and the streaming services and the sound bar, if any or all of it gets messed up, I’d probably not be able to put it all back together again.
My cable comapny recently changed from regular cable boxes to digital cable boxes where you can now use it for streaming services through your computer WIFI but the remote is very small and easy to lose, I make sure to keep mine in a bowl I keep on my stand at all times so I don’t lose it.
I would say that remotes will be a thing of the past. You’ll have to download an app remote on you phone. They might as well because most young people today are on their phones while watching TV.

Have you tried checking the couch, Garfield? That’s usually where the remote is found hiding.

Know the feeling. It’s always panic time when I lost the BluRay player of TV remotes.

According to surveys the most common place a lost remote is found is the refrigerator.

He looks pretty Garfield-esque to me. But thank goodness he didn’t lose his best friend. I LOVE YOU, ODIE!

Worse: our TV died last night! We’ve had it for almost 20 years. Let’s put it this way: it’s not flat.

Remember the Garfield comic strip from September 13, 1992? The remote was broken in that one. Jon’s reaction that time is classic! :>
