P1, So, Rick Soto gave up football for basketball? What about that budding singing career? Must be another talent show at the Moose Lodge soon. And is the dude in the background practicing to take over for Mop when he retires? Looks like he’s pretending to run the floor buffer.

P2, Something said by no one in reference to this strip.

P3, 60 years and counting and literally dozens of dissatisfied readers answer with a resounding, YES!

The Milford motto: Over promise and under deliver. Mediocre has been working just fine here you BStatWhiz wannabe. Hope you GilPa fans enjoy Joe Walsh as much as I do.

P1- Burly Rick Soto compliments Marcel for his shower/loofah mime, you know the one where he appears trapped in the stall

P2- Is that another Member’s Only jacket?

P3- R & W perhaps reaching out to us? Are big changes coming? Peacock now a permanent member of the ensemble? Herk the new AD? Tat slap back?

P-1: Burly RS seems to have his jaw wired shut.

P-2: Mr. Easily Pleased, did he study under the famous Crabby Appleton of Tom Terrific fame?

P-3: Told you he was easily pleased. I think a nice Chancery font in Bold would have been much more elegant.

Gil is like former Bears coach, John Fox, who once won a Super Bowl and lived off that reputation for many years afterwards. Gil once won a state title and is now kicking back and not doing any coaching, kind of like Fox did with the Bears. For example, he’s no where to be seen while these idiot basketball players run their own practice.

    From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

Yesssss, some mysterious character is in fact taunting the Milford athletic department via billboards… Given the outsized importance high school athletics holds in the Greater Milford Micropolitan Area, it’s wholly appropriate that our antagonist here beholds his work like a cackling supervillain unveiling his doomsday device.

It seems R&W, much like the Mudlarks, set low personal standards for this strip, and consistently fail to achieve them.

P1 – So Marcel Marceau keeps getting knocked down in practice, and another student is miming floor buffing. Did Milford add a pantomime class or something?

Now that is speedy. If you put yesterday and today’s strip together, evil guy is ordering a billboard at the same time as Marcel Marceau is knocked to the ground in practice. In the mere seconds that have elapsed before Marcel gets helped to his feet, the billboard has been erected!
