Thanksgiving is turkey day, but Christmas is favorite meat day. Some people eat turkey and some don’t.
Yeahbut……several guys on my street got turkey fryers for Christmas and can’t wait to fire them up!
Look around rhe barnyard, Mr. Turkey. And see who’s not there.
Many turkeys will be served on Valentine’s Day…that’s what my wife says.
The remains of your buddy in our refrigerator don’t feel that way. They sure are tasty though especially on a bun with some mayo!
They can breath a little easier now – the worst is past.
We prefer to have non-traditional meals at Thanksgiving and Christmas. For Christmas I barbecued a small pork loin.
Me, too!
Turkey isn’t thinking of what’s coming for its friends in the sty. Black-eyed peas have flown off the shelf in recent days and whole hams and sweet potatoes. Evidently some traditions, for whatever reason they exist, are not easily forgotten.
Domestic turkeys have intelligence and aggressiveness bred out of them — otherwise they might join their wild cousins in uprising.
They priced themselves right out of my shopping list. Went for a ham instead.
You & ME both‼️
Clever artwork.
I drink Wild Turkey any day.
I cooked the last turkey I will ever cook four years ago- – so some are safe.
I’m grateful we can get turkey year round. Back in the day it was only available Thanksgiving and Christmas. The industry took a while to develop
“Looks like we survived another Christmas. I mean, literally”
The best way to be a leftover.
What’s for new year’s?
(Turkey salad sandwiches, I hope.)
