Okay, I know it’s a comic strip, but who flies from Philly to NYC, then rents a car?

It always baffles me that Joe and Frank don’t do anything about Dot’s dangerous, reckless driving. They’re cops, they’ve seen the accidents that sort of driving can cause. Are they waiting for her to injure or kill somebody, or herself? There’s nothing funny about it.

Out of context of the actual comic, but does it look like Joe is starting to get older? Especially in panel 8? Does that mean that kids are going to get aged up?

One does NOT fly from Philly to NYC! Takes so much longer than driving (and its such a hassle!). Better yet, take public (rail) transportation!

As a lifelong citizen of New York City I get REALLY annoyed by people who think they’re so special because they visited or lived here for a short time. Also nobody drives here, there’s way too much traffic for that, we have the subway, greatest public transportation system in the world.

New York City. Drive in, swim out.

I visited Philly in 2008. We (Me and my cousin) took the train (A couple transfers I think?) to NYC. It took a couple hours or so but it was a great trip, a great time! So, my question to you Robb is… Why would they fly from Philly to NYC and Then rent a car!?! Getting there was an adventure in and of it’s self!

Isn’t Philly within driving distance of NYC? Why do they have to fly?

Why fly when you can drive. It’s only a couple hours…

I relate, I also lived in NY until I was five but visit fairly often. You take the person of the state, not the state out of the person.
