I really dislike having to scan everything. Especially QR codes.

Why do we have to scan everything these days? Whatever happened to simply reading?

My phone doesn’t scan QR codes, fortunately restaurants have found out they are a really bad idea in terms of sales.

Sad that things have come to that. I used to love opening a bottle of pop, pulling the rubber cap liner out, and discovering that I won a free bottle. One summer when I was a kid you could win a free bag of chips in the pop cap or a free bottle of pop in the chip bags. I snacked like a king that year. Now you have to download an app and enter or scan a code. It just isn’t the same.

I haven’t learned how to vet a QR code, so avoid them.

After scanning the QR code, you will be shown your fortune and a tip screen.
