The internet saves us a lot of trouble.

I’m doing the same thing, because if it isn’t locked up, somebody has dipped their finger into it. Guaranteed. Sometimes, even the locked up stuff.

You know you can buy it online from the company that makes it instead of from Amazon, right?

Some of the stuff being sold on Amazon is also shoplifted.

It used to be the only reason I ever went into those big mall stores; glad I don’t have to any more!

Now they have to worry about porch pirates

We deal with this stuff at Target all the time.

This sums up quite nicely one of the problems brick and mortar stores are having.

Change the laws and we may save local stores yet.

I think they need to capture, arrest, and prosecute shoplifters.

I buy food at the store and some clothing. Almost everything else is online where there is variety, the stuff is in stock and accessible. Often cheaper as well.

I give him credit on this one. This isn’t funny, but it IS true.

I went to CVS to get cough medicine, the brand name was locked up, the CVS version (exactly the same thing) was two shelves directly below and there for the taking. Go figure.

Just a reminder that the Walgreens CFO admitted that he “cried too much” about shoplifting, meaning he invented a story in order to justify building these locked cases that keeps people from actually buying things at Walgreens.

Target blamed shoplifting for the reasons they closed stores that were already scheduled to close anyway.

These corporations are lying about the problem. The cases have nothing to do with shoplifting.

I just pull out my phone, call the store, and tell them to send over someone with the key.

I already knew Joe was an awesome husband but now I’m convinced he is the full deal!

You’re nicer than I am. We don’t have very many of those locked cabinets in local stores. If I couldn’t just get what I was looking for, I’d just leave.

And some wonder why popularity of brick and mortar stores has declined…

We either order it in the store and wait for assistance or order it from the comfort of our own home.

This sounds just like Walmart.

Once that started up at stores I used to go to, I started buying online. I get theft issues, but if you cannot trust me then you don’t get my money.
