trump then simply lied and told reporters that Sheinbaum had “agreed to stop Migration through Mexico, and into the United States, effectively closing our Southern Border,” and his supporters trumpeted on social media that trump had closed the border with one phone call.

…They say no new taxes…

…but say nothing about fees, hikes, tariffs, hidden charges, surcharges, inflation, smaller products…

…etc, etc and so forth…

Trump never did get Mexico to pay for the wall! But he’s welcome to FAAFO over the border and/or tariffs once he’s sworn in. In his first term, DJT showed himself to be more of a schoolyard bully than a dictator. And that like most bullies, when enough people stood up to Trump, he backed off. I have reason to believe that it would be more of the same in his second term. Especially with very slim GOP margins over the Democrats in the House and Senate.

When will this stupid country face up to the fact that any “crisis at our southern border” is just our diseased chickens coming home to roost, due to the insane, asinine, expensive, counter-productive, dehumanizing, corrupt War on Drug-Using Americans? Not only does that support the USA’s organized-crime syndicates by giving them an unregulated monopoly, it drives billions and billions of dollars per year into the greedy hands of the Latin American drug lords, criminal cartels, gangs, and corrupt governments, whose fights over all that American loot are what’s making life miserable for the average citizens of those countries.

It was even worse in Afghanistan, home to 90% of the world’s opium poppies, where Americans were financing both sides of our longest-running war. (Tho, as of August 2021, we’re only supporting the Taliban.)

Wanna address the immigration “problem”? Legalize drugs! Turn their abuse into a medical issue, not a criminal one.
