@Faith: BPH is the abbreviation of the name for the condition when a man’s prostate is enlarged, but not due to cancer (the ‘B’ means ‘benign’). AF is atrial fibrillation. MPB is male pattern baldness. OSA is obstructive sleep apnea. AMD is age-related macular degeneration, which I have. There are 2 types, the ‘dry’ kind does not usually result in blindness. The ‘wet’ kind destroys the macula, the central part of the retina where light is focused so you can see. This can result in blindness. There are some treatments, but not all work for everyone. The number of people diagnosed with this is rapidly increasing; this is a serious problem…

Always good to get a levity break when we’re having to watch Tiffany deal with her dad and with AE. I realize it’s “just a comic strip”, but, honestly, I get depressed looking at the strip when it involves Ann. I was in a relationship with a Master Manipulator, and I just don’t like reliving it here. Please, please, please, can’t we resolve the situation permanently with Ann, and get her OUT of the strip…preferably after getting her just desserts (nothing chocolate).

So Luann will get old in 40 years (100 years Luann time). None of us will be around to laugh.

I know the Sunday ‘toons are rarely a part of a continuing arc, but I was wondering if this one wasn’t a suggestion that, in a future arc, Luann may end up as the caretaker of her parents. This is increasingly something that is going on in the US…

This is a Sunday foible strip I can relate too. I hope though that TeaFanny, who I believe is Karen under a pseudonym is only kidding about the murder theme. I mean there is motive, but that would be wrong, we don’t want to have introduce a lawyer character, that Al would get, that could defend her, and it is murder!! No not on Luann, not if it plans to continue as one of the best and most read daily strips in existence.
