Totally agree with Luann’s last phrase. But I hope that “Ah-HA!” Was Bernice finally finding something way more interesting of her usual clothes than she loves instantly. Can’t wait to see what it is. Something really classic and serious, something totally weird or something really simple and cute? Will Nil like it? And Luann?
Luann, you have the wrong idea of what a muse is. Whatever idea you got from the movies where muses wore silky gowns, the reality is a muse is whatever the ARTIST draws inspiration and creativity from. You reduced the muse to a certain type. Muses can look like anything that attracts the artist. Bernice happens to be Nil’s, just the way she looks. She is NOT the first muse to look, to quote you, “dull, uninspiring.” It is just your opinion and Nil begs to differ. And speaking of “dull, uninspiring,” take a look in the mirror. You can use a makeover. Tiff gave Bernice one so she might do it for you. Your creator is stuck in a time warp.
Aw, come on, Luann. You’re the one trying to foist your ideas of a muse on Bernice. She knows herself well enough to know what she doesn’t want. Maybe she’s found a scarf, hat, or Nil. He may shop there as well. I’d say Dez, but she’s out of the country. Whatever it is, Bernice seems enlightened! Lol!;-)
Doesn’t Luann realize what a farce this whole muse thing is? I can’t believe anyone would take it seriously, even if it is their delusion so-called best friend. She better be careful – if the worm turns Bernice will rip her head off.
Most people (with any strong sense of self) don’t want others to pick out their clothes for them. Even if you were to end up picking out the same thing, you want to do it yourself. Luann should know better but she craves doing this kind of thing.
