I never liked Thanksgiving. The family stuff was unpleasant and I don’t like the food except for the pies.

E.B. may be many things, but he’s no Burgess Meredith, Rocky,… err, Monty….

Is there anything he should go on the offense about?

Does he (should he) train for that, too?

When his parents give him any grief, Monty could retort with the quote: “Parents get the children they deserve.” I don’t know if that’s true or not, but that may be enough for them to back off.

Better leave Fleshy home this time!

Before I went into the Navy, I worked in restaurants and didn’t have to worry about Thanksgivings for about 6 years. I would be working on those.

It’s a shame some just can’t put aside all differences and nagging and just enjoy family. ☹️ Life’s too short!

Decided to join thanksgiving this year, the reply when I accepted the invitation was “Could you bring a vegetable?, we’re having 20 people.”

Maybe my family is strange but we never had real arguments, just who got to eat the wishbone and who got the last piece of pie.
