Didn’t know how to end the story. Weak.

No, actually it was what I expected as a fan of science fiction and time travel. Turned out to be a happy ending in this instance.

It is the only way it could have ended. She wakes up from the dream.

Do “our” and “we” indicate that she will in fact grow up to be that old woman? So she now knows that she has a long life ahead of her, and that’s why she’s so happy? If not, this makes little sense.

If you didn’t like the story then you didn’t get the message.

Yes, I enjoyed that too. Good story.

My only complain is that I was hopping to see her at the other stages of her life. Besides that, excellent story.

I’m not in a hurry to grow up. In fact, I’ve grown old, but I’ve never grown up.

It was a great story – and explains why she’s “wise beyond her years”.

I’d like to see her Uncle Bob stumble across the tree. Then again, he might turn out even more Nixonian.

This was delightful.

I’ve always identified with the saying, “It’s not what you go through in life, it’s what you become!” I feel I still have a lot of Peter Pan in me, and I’m thankful for it.

It might have been more fun with Danae. She will be a holy terror as a teenager, but probably a delightful old lady.

The glory of the story is in the telling.

I don’t get it, who is “we & our”? Does she mean the old lady is ALSO Kate?

The gift of an enlightenment. Some never notice or aware of it at such an early age. Others may see it but pass it by; wrapped up in themselves. That boost of a leap of faith was fortunate; some may never make it until it is almost too late.Kate was fortunate. Now hopefully she remembers something of that dream. Who says dreams are not real. Wonder what Petey thinks?

The saying goes “We grow too soon old and too late smart!” It seems that she will avoid that situation!!

On the outside, I’m seventy-five. On the inside, I’m 19. Only less stupid….
