There are still real stars and real heroes out there but yeah, “reality stars” don’t count and “celebrity” has a different meaning.

Among them, supporting actors who received neither recognition nor honors but without whose unsung abilities many stars would have flopped. Lots of times I enjoyed the ‘character actors’ and ‘side kicks’ much more than the ‘leads.’

For the record, I take all my direction in politics, my beliefs in philosophy and my instruction in religion from celebrities. Some of these people have degrees from Beverly High.(Argus Hamilton)

The cemetery where my family is buried allows only up to three words on a stone. The ones of us who are still alive have an ongoing game to choose the three words for ourselves, to wit: Where am I?, Who’s out there?, Under where? Time ran out. Got a blanket? Off the grid. Where’s the chocolate? Watchoo lookin’ at? ….and some humorous things I can’t recall at the moment

I know it’s all just a game, guys, but you know that we’re born, we live a certain amount of time and we die. There are no stars; we’re just the trip from dust to dust.

If he hadn’t asked that question, the Cop might never have recognized him.

And, if he hadn’t been Recognized, the Cop wouldn’t have Shot him.

Some people have real problems distinguishing between the Actor and the character of “Despicable, Murdering, Drug Dealer” the actor played on TV.

It reminds me of a joke about a “famous” person trying to cut in line at the check in counter at the airport, by saying loudly to the agent: “You know who I am?” and the non-plussed agent grabs the intercom and announces: “We have a guest here who doesn’t know who he is. If you are missing a relative, please come to station X…”

    My favorite line:

Christian Bale as the bad guy: “Do you know who my father is?”

Samuel L Jackson as Shaft: “No. Do you?”

    Both great actors.
