I don’t run errands. I plan raids. I try to get the highest “stores hit per mile driven” metric I can manage. It very often is planned on minimizing the number of left hand turns I have to make.
Most of the shops we frequent are on the same strip. We drive out hitting all the stores on one side, cross the street and hit the rest of the shops coming back.
Yesterday I went for a drive, just to go for a drive. I didn’t have to be anywhere, not much traffic, was able to slow down for tailgaters, all in all it was kind of nice. Made the most out of a good spring day.

I have been going on drives here in California so my car’s battery doesn’t go dead and so I can see the trees in bloom also on a certain street.

Five thousand individuals all running errands at the same time? Seems to defeat the purpose of limiting gathering size.
