Don’t remember this series. It already doesn’t make sense.

Wow, Flying an airplane through powder puffs? Wouldn’t the engines get clogged? Now that’s what I’d call a real plane duster.

You should see the First Class lounge on this thing…a Van Gogh, widescreen TV, a pool table, and I heard there’s a swimming pool on the lower level, but I don’t believe that.

You can’t fly Snoopy’s doghouse, you don’t even have a license.

Can they take it for a ‘spin’ around the airdrome?

The original strip was from 1975 and in black and white in the newspapers. This was brought up because Charles Schulz wife at the time, Jean, took part in the derby. The derby was from California to Michigan. I believe this was mixed in with the Charlie Brown going to camp in the original strips but somebody can look that up and verify and slam me if I am wrong. After all, I am old and can’t remember stuff like I used to (see current Garfield strips for proof…)

My grandparents had a hassock and I got a large cardboard box. With that box and footstool, I spent many hours playing and pretending I was in an airplane, a ship, submarine or a train. I drew and colored the outside faces of the box for each one and faced appropriate side to the front.

It looks better than the plane I had, which was a cardboard box

Hmmm, parents letting kids fly in a plane piloted by a beagle . . . I think a call to child protective services is warranted

Sopwith Camel. Had to look it up. That “First World War for Dummies” was money down the drain.
