That’s the closest thing to cussing I ever saw in this strip.

Fall days are fun. Or in my case the fall days have been snow covered for the past couple.

Woodstock went bonkers!

Now I can’t get the song “Short People” by Randy Newman out of my mind.

THROUGH the leaves, Snoop. It’s different when you’re UNDER them.

I’m still waiting for the brisk fall days, it’s been a horrible, humid summer.

I agree. I love running through leaves, messing up my dad’s work on the lawn and since there’s 22 acres of forest near my house, I explore all the time.

I’d suggest he fly, but he never seems to have mastered it.

Woodstock is probably California Dreaming after that.

At least that heavy snow they had for the last couple of days has all melted. Gives them more time to rake all those fallen leaves without somebody starting another snowball fight.

But just think of all the juicy bugs and other crawly things Woodstock will find under all those leaves.

When you’re adult, you just rake leaves. It sucks.

At this time of year, raking leaves is like shoveling snow while the stuff is still falling.

I “do” leaves twice each fall. Once early on when the leaves have been falling for a while but have not yet reached the blizzard phase. Then again about 4 weeks later when about 90% of them are off the trees.

I use an electric leaf blower. It’s a lot lighter than a gasoline powered one and a lot quieter, too. It makes as much noise as a vacuum cleaner and you cannot hear it from three blocks away. It works more than well enough.

Our HOA hires a company to maintain the greenbelt areas. They sometimes have as many as three leaf blowers going all at once. It sounds like we have a booming logging industry in the neighborhood.

I get the biggest kick out of watching my 20 mo grandson who loves to ride his balance bike through piles of leaves all the while squealing with joy.

It isn’t easy being small!

Nothing like leaves falling down into a nice pile to jump in.

Lucky Woodstock doesn’t even have to jump into a pile of leaves because they simply cover him. Cool beans!

He’s your friend, idiot ! Help him out !

Ah. Reminds me of Autumns when I was a but a young lad, walking to school, scooting along in piles of leaves filling the sidewalks.
