Suppertime, and the livin’ is easy.

He’s too tired from not eating or something.

It’s just dog food. Bring out some cookies and root beer and he’ll be dancing like a fool!

It looks like Snoopy’s learned to do the Riverdance.

“Dance, ballerina, dance,

Through your pirouette,

Never once forget,

A dancer has to dance the part."

He’s right, Charlie; drop the slop and go back to watching TV.

Take it back inside. He’ll be kicking the door when he’s willing to be more appreciative.

It’s nice to see that all the snow is gone even though it is still January, and that Charlie Brown can go outside without even wearing a winter jacket.

He forgot the steps.

Maybe he’s made the jump from dancer to choreographer.

Looks like Snoopy is trying out for Riverdance.

There’s a similar strip where Snoopy isn’t dancing for his supper and Charlie Brown says “Maybe you need a shot or something.” Snoopy then dances much more enthusiastically!

Oh yeah, the “suppertime” gag. I’m guessing it wasn’t used often, but “stuck” with readers. Or maybe it was used in a Peanuts special.

Our grand dog Keona a German Shedder does a happy dog dance every meal. But won’t eat it till we say OK.

Our outdoor, NE Indiana, 13-year-old white lab used to do that when we switched her food to Purina Pro Plan and added some moist and meaty to it. We brought her in due to single digit or lower temps and now barely eats it. We are making her into an indoor dog due to age but are having second thoughts. Hoping she adjusts.
