life is NOT begging for “followers” to agree with what you see or do; but doing something that inspires ourselves to appreciate the everyday things.

Likes are this century’s version of the pat on the back. Despite what anybody may say, everybody appreciates getting them.

It looked kind of like the sun setting over a butt and I wasn’t sure where the joke was going.

A sunset as seen through a phone’s camera is no match for the real thing. If he’d used the phone to invite a couple of more friends to come outside and enjoy it with him, at least that would make sense.

Who knew Rat was so likeable…?

GAS. Just who Gives a SHAT? ‘Followers’ who cannot actually move or follow. Friends who cannot shake your hand or share food.

Social media that moves us each further apart. What a culture, what a time to be alive.

If the sun sets and it doesn’t get posted on Facebook, does it make a noise?

Sadly, pathetically true.

GoComics is the extent of my social media. That said, my new philosophy on life has been, “You can never watch too many sunsets!”…..and I live where they are truly beautiful.

I wanted to make a comment but I was afraid I wouldn’t get any likes.

Sure took RAT long enough to respond…..but not to GOAT…..society is obsessed with social media….U. G. H. !

It makes me uneasy to think I’m being followed.

I follow some YouTubers that may , at times, regret ever getting started. Now that they have a well running channel, they have to keep coming up with content. It is a vacation to them to enjoy the day without recording anything.

I think I’ll go to Denny’s and eat a Moon Over My Hammy breakfast.

Best sunset I ever saw was in Tucson. Full overcast, and then the sun got low enough to shine up into it, and it was gorgeous.

I rarely get serious here but did you know that sunsets are the most photographed images on earth?

Reminds me of the great idea I have for a new Social Media platform…Lemmings.com.

Unfortunately, many people’s avenue to self-esteem revolves around how many followers they have and how many likes they receive.

Gotta admit I get a teensy thrill when someone ❤️’s my comment; a small thrill when someone makes a cogent reply and a medium thrill when my comment’s “Featured.” Don’t you? But I have no twitter (I think I had to sign up once to see some post that a friend wanted me to see, but I’ve never once twitted. Tweeted. I meant “tweeted”!

I feel bit conflicted “liking” today’s strip.

Who gives a flying thought about the silly sunset? Rat got 100 likes! That’s what really matters these days. We are living digital lives in a digital universe. “Real” means digital, and vice versa.

Haven’t watched TV in 35 years. Of course the internet is my “problem”.

I have social media. I post pictures on my calculator
