I never drink lite beer. I don’t see the wisdom in paying the same for something diluted. If I drink beer at all, I like 8% or more. That way, you only need to have one.

When I first retired, I had a neighbor who drank Busch Light while splitting fire wood. He had decided it was the idea combination of hydration and “well, this isn’t so bad a task.”

I thought light beer was made with light water.

As a former bartender of 30 years, I can tell you this is a common phenomenon. Light beer is the fat man’s drink. What I cannot tell you is how many times I’ve seen some morbidly obese guy drinking light, after light, after light. Ya gotta wonder…
