Have you ever noticed that shirt seams are all sewn so the OUTSIDE of the shirt is nice and smooth, and the INSIDE has seams that stick up away from the shirt and BUG you as soon as you notice them? That’s why I sometimes wear my shirt with the smooth side in. That’s my story and I’m (ahem) sticking to it!

I appreciate the artist’s attention to detail. The buttons are reversed like a woman’s blouse and you can see the stitching at the seams. It is drawn inside out.

I said upside down you′re turning it

    You’re wrongly dressed instinctively

′Round and ’round you turn the shirt

    Upside down

Dude, you wear it inside out

    And, ′round and ′round

Everyone is wrong, this is Day 2 for the shirt, like the 4 day underwear; day 1 right side out front to front, day 2 front to back, day 3 inside out front to front, and day 4 inside out front to back.

Check out the collar, buttons, and pocket. It is not inside out.

It would be near impossible to put a long sleeve shirt on and button the front and wrist and reverse the collar and not notice. On a women’s shirt the buttons are on the left but they are on the outside,on an inside/out shirt the buttons would also be on the inside and not show when buttoned. Now putting on a polo shirt inside out is easy.

The old Saturday Evening Post magazine had a feature called “The Perfect Squelch.” Here’s a perfect one for sure. Good on ya, Nelson. But the old guy’s still right. Lose the “dude.” (Though I dislike “sir” almost as much; it shows respect, but it makes me aware of how old I am.)

Earl, just tell Nelson that you are wearing it that way because the outside of the shirt is dirty.

That’s how you get 5 days out of underwear. Day 1—normal. 2—front to back. 3—inside out. 4—back to front, inside out. Day 5—commando while you wash underwear.

Shirt pocket on the wrong side if its inside out, and the buttons should be on the inside – a bit of dramatic license I suppose..

A tee shirt inside out is understandable. But a button up shirt? Impossible.
