American Grandpa’s, the reason American Education is behind the rest of the world. It takes two years just to unteach all the stuff that grandpas’s teach their grandkids.
As a female, I kind of resent this. Can we go with “grandparent?” I am also a mom, and I remember people coming to visit my little one when she was all fresh and new. I would hear, “She looks just like you,” and then I would notice – fat rolls on her legs, fat rolls on her wrists, thin, baby hair, not the same color hair as mine, a head/body ratio much different than an adult’s, wearing a diaper, and I found the whole comparison very funny! (I was about 100 lbs by the time I was home from the hospital with my baby.) She does look much like me, as became more apparent each year. She also looks like her dad. It all depends on who she is near.

I never had a grandpa, or a grandma, either, and wish I had. Nelson, Opal, and Earl are all lucky to have each other.

That’s silly. Everyone knows, all babies look like Winston Churchill. (The WWII Winston, not the Boer War Winston, of course).
