Must proofread on GoComics all the time ! A lot of times what I type will be different then what’s printed ;-)

What about, Only a plugger has Angel ears instead of angel wings.

Went to a national-brand “octo-view-plex” a couple of weeks ago. Commented to my wife, “They couldn’t have created a worse movie-viewing experience.”

You have to check before you send because “auto correct” will mess up what you wrote.

That’s because in the old days kids had classes called ‘Spelling’. . . and books called ’Speller grade 5 ’

That’s me! I also use correct punctuation. Shortcuts are good and abbreviations used rarely. I type Th- and ‘Thanks!’ appears. I would never type ty! It took a much older lady friend telling me, “Oh honey, if I didn’t text, I’d NEVER hear from my grand babies!” to get me to start texting!

Yes, thanks to those wonderful SPELL CHECK features, proofreading is a required skill these days.

Theatre admissions cost twice as much as Theater admissions

All texts must be in complete sentences with correct speling, punctuation, and capitalization.

If I didn’t use full grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. in my texts, I’m afraid I would forget how to read and write! I do like spellcheck, but don’t trust it. I try to go back and re-read what I typed, but don’t always catch everything.

This punchline isn’t even that old, I totally remember it showing up before. It’s just worded differently. And I’m sure it’s theater, dude.

My 8th-grade drama teacher, Mr. DeForge, said it is always spelled, “theatre.” He was a pretty dramatic guy.
