That “tail end” kind of looks like it is actually (or should be) another head end. It appears to have a clitellum (a collar-like structure). A clitellum is normally located near the head end. You can see it more clearly on the other two worms (worm parts). [Of course, earthworms don’t ‘technically’ have eyes either.]
Reminds me of my nightcrawler hunting days as a youth! I frequently ended up with a bucket full of half worms! I found it nearly impossible to pull with patience! ;o{
I assume the two halves are of the same worm since one of the halves as no eyes. As you can see on the whole worm there’s only one clitellum near the head. There should be no clitellum at the tail of the cut worm.
