/// Betje sits for a Lesson in Drawing.

In the background, her maid is withdrawing.

    Quickly heads for the door.

    Having been here before

she has learned— very soon comes the pawing.

Louise was shocked when walked in on Gertrude and her client in the brothel. She knew Professor Covington had his kinks, but she was sure that “giving an anatomy lesson to a pretty girl” meant something different.

Wilbur was not particularly interested in learning the details of the sculpture. But, then again, he was a dog.

You asked him for a selfie. I have been sent by his arrangements agent to present one of his better ones. This one is recent and only a few years old and relatively accurate. He would like for you to reciprocate. I have arranged for a renowned sculptor to capture you in a classic reclining nude pose.

Apparently, according to Urban Dictionary, "grundlecharms’ is a real word. Is English a great language or what?!

    The Drawing Lesson

    Paste (including the quote marks)

    "Category:Paintings of busts" site=commons.wikimedia.org

(syntax supported by the Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ecosia and Yandex search engines) in the browser address bar (or search for it using one of those search engines) and choose the first Category: found and once there find the text string tekenles, and click its link for info and links that point to more info (perhaps best viewed using Google Chrome, which can automatically translate most webpages if necessary) about this roughly jumbo envelope size painting.

Again, a larger strip image is shown by (Ctrl- or right-) clicking the image in Mr. Melcher’s MASTERPIECE #3159 (July 5, 2023) blog entry, accessible by the Check out the blog! box after the last comment, and using the dropdown menu (even larger, if you trim what’s after .png from the URL). I have added a comment there (awaiting Mr. Melcher’s approval) pointing to what limited info I could find about this artist. Only work by him used here so far.

    No, no, no.

If the water is up to here, that is “past your eyes”.

    Pasteurize is another meaning entirely.
