I cooked a frozen pizza on a charcoal grill during a three day power outage. It was terrific!

He just lost his bargaining position about Gladys spending too much money.

That grill kind of looks like Rosie from the Jetsons!

The only way to grill is with charcoal.

When he goes back to work he needs to ask for a $1 raise to purchase some hamburgers. doubt he’ll get it from that tightwad

When I was a kid, my parents were poor, so having hot dogs for supper was living the high life. I still eat them (and NO, I do NOT want to know what is in them).

Technology that complicates my life is useless. Make my life easier, all good.

I’d be cooking a nice steak instead of burgers.

Brutus is starting slow but given that he is the Born Loser the answer to Gladys’s question might turn out to be “pepperoni.” Gladys has the pizza delivery phone number queued up and ready to go “just in case.” But if the dogs miraculously turn out okay don’t forget the Bertman’s mustard!

Hopefully Brutus is serving a proper Chicago hot dog: An all-beef frankfurter (such as Vienna Beef) in a poppy seed bun, topped with yellow mustard, neon-green sweet pickle relish, chopped white onion, tomato slices, a dill pickle spear, pickled sport peppers and celery salt.

He’s actually right. Gotta do a test run on the simple stuff first just to check it out. However, I would have opted for steaks and corn on the cob myself……

Gotta start out slow to cure the grill.

Everyone knows you have to break in your grille with easy stuff first. Not everyone is Bobby Flay or Kent Rollins.

Brutus goes on, “after what I paid for this, we can’t afford steak”…

Brutus is smart for a change, he doesn’t want to risk burning something expensive like a steak on a new grill until he gets the hang of it.

But can he actually turn on a simple burner on the stove inside the house?

Brutus must have got that raise.
