ghosts? spirits? the night my mother-in-law died she appeared to me beside my bed and told me Jesus let her stop by to say goodbye, and other things, and appeared to grow younger as she spoke with me…
I have a couple of spirits too. They’re no bother. I sometimes smell they smoking. Sometimes they’ll turn the TV back on a few minutes after I’ve turned it off.
Firstly, I do not believe in ghosts. Buuut, I had a friend who told me his family house had a ghost that they believed was his father. He said sometimes they would hear things like walking or piano music playing, even though they no longer had a piano in the house (his father loved playing the piano). I even sat in on a Seance in that house and I did see an odd occurrence. At one point the Chandelier moved to about a 45 degree angle, stayed there a minute, then moved slowly back to normal. One other incident there was one evening, we were out in the yard playing badminton, when his dog began a furious barking jag from inside the house. We ran up to the front door, which was unlocked, to find it locked. He went around back to find that door locked as well. A few minutes later, the dog stopped and we were able to go back in through the now unlocked door!
When I was a very young boy my family lived in the oldest house in our town (It was the first home to have electricity in our town). We had a stairway from the bottow floor sewing room to an attic/room used by my oldest brother to study. We too heard noises up there on a regular basis. It never scarred me at the time. One particlar event occurred when I was there with two of my much older siblings. It wasn’t just noises, we heard foot steps and they started walking down the stairway and they stopped at the door to the attic. My older siblings were frozen in a panic. We then heard the footsteps walk back up the stairs. My Dad got home shortly thereafter and went upstairs and no one was there. My Mother, went to the local Parish Priest and had a blessing (exorcism possibly?) on the house. We never heard the noises again. I was sort of sad that it went away. Ours might have been related to Uncle Ted’s. Who knows……

If he mostly naps could be the ghost of a cat.

That, or maybe his furnace is on its last legs.

He naps, you nap….it’s a sleepy kind of house, isn’t it, Uncle Ted?

The poltergeezer is so old he calls Uncle Ted a young whippersnapper. I can hear him now…, “Now listen here you young… you whipperz…ZZZ.”

I don’t buy the idea that there’s an actual ghost in the attic.

Better a poltergeist than any of the large number of very expensive failures that strange noises in a house could presage.

I heard of a place that had a poltergeist with asthma. It was a polterweezer.

I hope Brutus doesn’t have a bad dream tonight. Boo. Fright night. Ghost exist only in the imagination of the weak. And movies.

I had an experience with a ghost in my old house. Bumps, dragging noises and my friend even heard them…went in attic and nothing…Spooky.

Instead of pulling people into their realm through the TV, he uses an old vacuum tube radio.

Nothing fazes Uncle Ted. Anyway, he knows an elderly poltergeist only gets up to go to the bathroom at night.

They say the house I live in is haunted. But I’ve lived her over 400 years and haven’t seen anything.

Uncle Ted has secrets. Hopefully we won’t see them re-enacted in ‘True Crime’ shows.

I’ll bet Uncle Ned has been pulling stuff like that on Brutus since Brutus was knee high to a grasshopper.

You’re so lucky, Uncle Ted! My poltergeist is silent, but hides things all the time. At least that’s what I tell myself.
