Brutus, Kewpie likely doesn’t want to hear the caterwauling on the singing channel either, but I don’t think Gladys was really interested in dissenting votes.
I’m with you as most what passes as singing today is screeching accompanied by some noise euphemistically called music. Kewpie has good taste and made a good call…..
Someone beat me to the man’s best friend comment! It’s hard to believe there’s still a household these days with only one screen. No phones or pads for streaming?
This reminds me of my in-laws. My father-in-law was a sports fanatic, and, with few exceptions, he would have some kind of game on. I think the only time my poor mother-in-law got to see what she wanted was when her soaps were on.
OK, all 3 of you, get up and go for a walk! Forget the TV. I remember dating someone who loved to change channels. He would flick channels every few seconds. Maybe a few minutes, and move on. It was highly irritating to me, who had not watched any TV at all in decades. On one of my birthdays after dinner he started that, and I said, “Channel surfing is not my favorite sport.” He handed me the remote. I turned it off.

Actually Kewpie seems indifferent. Perhaps he would have preferred to vote for a walk.

I vote, shut off the TV and go walk a few miles.

Gladys will just change the channel anyway.

I’d vote you buy yourself your own T.V.

We could truly say Kewpie is “Man’s Best Friend”.

I vote we get a DVR. Then we can watch one program while recording your singing show.

I bet when Brutus sings in the shower Gladys tries to change the channel.

I wonder what singing show she’s talking about. Sing Along With Mitch perhaps. Now that was a great show. We never missed it.

That dog looks like a howler. Gladys, put on your Singing Show, and Kewpie will sing along. Lovely!

No but go ahead and walk on over to your Mom’s and watch the singing show, just be home in time to make dinner.

maybe we should use the fuse channel on the remote so that you would be watching the game and the singing show in one channel… :D

Kewpie never even woke up, Brutus. Admit it, you lied to Gladys to get your own way.

Lindy would watch the Westminster Dog Show but otherwise ignore the TV. Our other 6 ignored the TV completely.

Seriously… does anyone have only one TV in their home now?

Is Kewpie even awake? I just checked the standings and, at the moment, the Guardians are in second place in the AL Central. As an aside…
Go, Braves!!!!!!!!!

Doesn’t matter if Kewpie is awake or asleep, considering that he can’t actually communicate any opinions — Brutus has spoken!
