Even just plain old logs or leaves smell better than anything that comes out of his kitchen.

If he wants it to taste like a homemade meal, burn it first.

Like coming in the house to a smell of fresh apple pie, only to find your wife is burning a candle. Should be against the law to do that!

Is Gladys’ cooking that bad Brutus ?

eating it would be hard, but burning it would just make you wanna eat it… maybe you should just toss it and just grab some fried chicken at a restaurant instead. ;)

Watch yer back Brutus. Gladys’ has acute hearing. Coal for Christmas present. Burns swell. Smoky but burns hot. I had a piece of coal that I had saved form the 1950’s. We used coal and wood back then. The coal piece resembled a locomotive train engine. Really neat piece of coal. About age 12 and joined Air Force at age 18. Most of my stuff got chunked out when my mom and dad divorced and left lot neat stuff behind farm house and barns. My childhood likely went to the woods dump back then.

Considering how he does eat at times, it could actually be a more tasty meal. Personally, I wouldn’t want the smell of even great smelling fried chicken permeating the room. Now good baking smells are most definitely a different kettle of fish that I do enjoy in anticipation of the completed baking item(s)…….

I remember hearing about logs that smelled like KFC. No joke.

I drove past a restaurant today that had a sign advertising “Chicken for Breakfast “.

We have a wood stove. They sell scented oils for use in the steamer pot we put on top to add some humidity. Aromas include chocolate brownie and sugar cookie. Smells like we’re baking.

and theres TLC (tastes like chicken) vodka now too

Does Brutus really have to pick either burn or eat? Isn’t he used to both?
