Back in the 70’s, they used to sell toilet paper with printed patterns. If you hung the roll so the paper came down the back, the pattern was hidden on the hanging sheets.
My friend Tim met his wife Louise when they were both patients in the same Obsessive Compulsive Disorder therapy group.
For the most part, they have a normal marriage, except when it comes to hanging the toilet paper. She likes the loose end against the wall, but likes it out, easier to reach.
Each time either one would use the bathroom the toilet paper would be switched, according the obsession of the user.
The psychiatric profession has a term for this: roll reversal.
I used to be married to a “Flo”. She was a fanatic about it coming from the back and didn’t mind that her long nails were scraping the paint off the wall every time she used it. That wasn’t the final straw in our marriage but it was in there.

Yup. That would kill it for me, too.

All cats know it goes the other way. It’s much easier to unravel.

As long as it doesn’t fall all over the floor, clean or not.

It is concerning. What does she think about (How does she react to seeing) your toilet going over the top (the correct way)?
Does she want to “fix” you? Do you feel the need to “fix” her?

If you have cats, that’s the way it’s gotta go.

I would be more worried if, instead of t.p., there was a bucket of corn cobs.
