Well, he did kill some time with the spider.

No, she asked Wiz to go into the living room and entertain their guest (the spider) while she makes the tea.

Nope. Not a chance. Granted, I leave the smaller ones alone, so long as they keep to their corners. But the bigger ones…

Spiders are our Friends, and should be Treasured….. anything that eats flies and mosquitoes is My Pal, as far as I am concerned.

Perhaps the spider will find it’s soulmate in another corner. They will get married and become newlywebs.

For those squeamish people who have a mission out to kill spiders there are very few spiders that are poisonous to humans, and if you eliminate spiders you will have to put up with much more houseflies and mosquitoes in your home because spiders keep their population spurts in check.

I have not one, but two, spiders in my bathroom I’ve been thinking of letting out. But! Then I realized they were catching ants from a flower pot, so I keep ’em until I put that outside!

Spiders are great…until they start putting webs across the entryway, or drop on me in the shower.

Spider Lives Matter!

Spiders are cool.

I did my best to get my child over her fear of spiders. I would tell her to give them names and make them pets. It didn’t work great, but she now has taught her daughter not to be afraid of spiders, because they are helpful in eating other bugs we don’t want indoors. We almost never have venomous spiders around here.

Without the Green Beard it’s just not that funny!!

I never kill spiders. Spiders kill flies. Spiders are bros.

Quick, SPLAAAT it!

I once opened an outdoor storage box at work and found all of these sloppy looking webs. Looking closer I saw all of the Black Widow spiders that had made them. There was a can of Raid beneath that layer of webs that I decided not to get. There were also work gloves stored there that went straight into a bag, filled with poison, and trashed. I was always careful to bring my own gloves after that.

Spider, Wizard’s best friend…
