Is that Wiz’s idea of sparking up some romance in his marriage? I have heard of couples “sparking”. But I thought that was very old-fashion way of speech.
We used to log people off of their IBM mainframe terminals by doing that (early 1980’s). They had to wait 15 minutes for their session to time out before they could log back in! :D
I used to wear rubber soles tennis shoes. I liked the crackling sound of our television when turned off, so I would rub it. Then I could put my hand about a foot from a pull cord and the static electricity would pull it toward me. Or I could put my finger about an inch from my brother, Raymond’s earlobe and listen to the crack of the spark.
(Looking back, I could have been a much better brother.)
I accidently touched our dog yesterday when letting her go outside and shocked her. She cried when I did it and I felt bad. How to you let a dog know about static electricity? I told her I wasn’t upset with her and gave her a love.

My brother used to do that to me. Luckily only the living room was carpeted—family room, kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms had tile floors.

As a kid I remember figuring out that if I used a paper clip to touch the other person they would get a much bigger zolt than I did.
