Getting back to football, watching a game Arlo and Janis typically wear Auburn’s colors, Burnt Orange and Navy Blue, but not today. JJ might be trying to keep his Tigers out of his complaint. A loss yesterday leaves them 2 and 3. Not having a good year.
I watch these young players running, getting hit, slammed to the ground, and what they must feel like the morning after. When they get to be my age, they can wake up feeling that way every morning without having to put forth the effort!
I once knew a guy who was so into the different levels of football that when he moved across the country to a new city, he did whatever “research” was involved to pick out a local high school team to root for.
