I can understand checking the car and the couch and the kitchen but I got a kick out of Arlo checking for his phone in the bathroom.

“Siri-where are you”, a common phrase in this ADHD house.

If your pockets aren’t deep enough, phones tend to fall out anywhere. ;)

With two devices in the house you can always use “Find my . . .”

I have a digital alarm clock with a two-position switch on it marked DST ON & OFF. How simple!

Did my clock changes last night. Except for plugging my phone up at bedtime, it stays in my belt holster.

Third time in 10 minutes, I was kicked out to a screen asking if I was NOT a robot. I’m reading comics, you JERKS, not searching for government secrets! Lemmee be!

Get one of those ‘Tiles’ for lost items from Amazon, put the app on your phone, and … wait ….

My wife can make her lost phone ring by using her smart watch, if she remembered to charge it and she’s close enough.

Tile makes a fob for that. Press the one on your keys and your phone rings (if you know where your keys are).

I love the perspective from the car. It’s almost as if the phone were looking out at him, snickering. “He’ll never find me in here!”

Being able to call my personal phone is the ONLY reason why I miss my work phone now that I’m retired. I had to walk to my neighbor’s house one time, ask him to come over and call my phone so I could find it. My watch has a method to make my phone ring, but I have to be very near it for it to receive the signal, and it stops looking for it after 30", which pretty much defeats the purpose. I have since learned you can go on websites now to get your phone to ring, but I hesitate giving my phone number out to a website whose privacy policy says “We don’t use your number for any other purpose, but we may share it with third party websites.” Just recently, my phone number must have made some list because I was getting a dozen calls a day from numbers I didn’t know. I learned If you personally decline the call and block the number the calls keep coming from similar phone numbers, but when you allow it to go to voicemail, the bots will consider this phone number null and void after about 2 weeks and stop calling.

Never have done it, but I’m pretty sure I could find my phone just by going on line and filling out a form for insurance. Last time, my phone rang about 10 times in the next half hour.

My problem is I go into each of those and forget why the heck I came in there. If I end up in the bathroom, I give up and just go.

Housemate has me call on a regular basis to help find the phone. Claims Twiggs (kitten) steals it. Twiggs isn’t allowed in housemate’s rooms.

Like you said earlier, standard time works just fine. Wish the rest of the country would get on board with us.

I can never find my phone, no matter what. Honestly, I don’t even try anymore. Siri will make it ping upon request. Of course, this only works at home …
