I try not to drag politics into the comics, but this just sounds too much like what we are hearing from Washington these days.

… and now he may just keep coming back …

… and then you may have an annoying customer issue.

And if they do manage to unload all of those container ships where are they going to put the stuff? The warehouses are full.

I stock groceries, and I’ve been using the supply chain excuse for well over a year

It’s true, ever since covid struck we haven’t been able to be sure anything will come in consistently

No, but we do have the one for the stalagmite spanner bar. Unfortunately, it won’t work in your case.

I recently went to a Lowes Building Supply and was told that due to supply chain problems they had no steel wool in stock. I wonder if steel wool is made in China?

A 19mm Jeeb crimper will do the same job but you have to use it left handed.

Before you can siphon gas, you first have to suck on the hose.

We are in for a see-saw ride. There are all kinds of mathematical models to do forecasting for demand and when to order parts for “just in time” arrival given lead time. Most of these models work well when demand and lead times are within “normal parameters.” We are now outside the edges of this known universe and the models don’t work out here.

In some cases, they demand overcompensation and panic buying. For example, interrupt the gasoline supply for just a couple of days and everyone has to fill up his tank today: the longer the line for gasoline, the more likely people will join it to make sure that they get “theirs.”

Sigh. He must work for BestBuy (WorstBuy). Needed a new printer after 14 years of use, and every quality one was “we will have to order it, We do not stock it.” Then I was told it wouldn’t be here until at least November 19th.

So off to Staples, had to order it there too, but it will be here on the 2nd of November.
