Every law should be written as if it would be enforced by your worst enemy and enforced vigorously.

Then our current Congress should go down as the best in history. They don’t govern at all.

When McKinley was shot and before he died, Congress and he Supreme Court were in recess. Teddy Roosevelt did not take over until the president’s death 12 days later. So for a period of almost two weeks, the country was without a government at all. It got along just fine with nobody watching the store.

One who cuts costs the most governs best. That leaves out Congress the WH, and the whole existing government and the taxpayers take it on the chin!

Define “least”. Passing omnibus bills written by lobbyists and that were never read by legislators requires only a temporary presence to make one vote, but I certainly wouldn’t call that “best”.

It appears the political path ahead is actually two paths that respectively loop through two exclusive echo chambers… and the kakistocracy stumbles on…and on…deaf and blind…but certainly not dumb unfortunately.

I always wish when they threaten to shut the Government down, that they would, but without pay. Social Security stays up and running.

I mean why is vaping products, (which now nitrous oxide is a new trend), are even allowed to be sold? They clearly aim it at the teen market.
