Just found out it was Charles’ 100th birthday. Pretty cool, even though I’ve never read Peanuts before, this comic urged me to read it.

Honestly, Peanuts is the most overrated comic in existence.

I’m not saying it’s bad, it’s more than decent, it’s just that it’s insanely overrated.

Many commenters had been complaining about this arc, that it was going on for too long and the answer was obvious. But it had to end today as it is the 100th year anniversary of “Sparky’s” birth. Good job Mr. Peirce

Nate finally gets an A grade in history. Awesome. Loving the comic strips today who have honored Schulz in one way or another. This on Nate was well planned.

Wow. So today, Charles Schulz would be 100 years old. (Also I’m kinda new around here. But not to the comic.)

Strip rating: 10/10 I think Nate speaks for everyone in the comic strip community when he thanks sparky for everything

Nate is Charlie Brown, only he doesn’t KNOW he’s Charlie Brown – in spite of constant failure, rejection and humiliation, his ego remains undiminished.

I’ve gone through all of the other comics available online and in print, and have found nothing like this, with a week of setting the table for today’s tribute. And it worked perfectly. This is one of the best pieces of work Mr. Peirce has ever done.p.s. Some of the others that I thought were clever were The Argyle Sweater, Back in the Day, The Born Loser, Dick Tracy, Rose is Rose, Rosebuds, and Tank McNamara. Some of them are subtle, a couple more obvious (Dick Tracy in particular has to be seen to be believed), but all clever. And over on Comics Kingdom there’s an interesting little history lesson on the Barney Google page.

Wow just wow. This is not only one of the best big Nate strips of the year but even of the comic strip. This beautiful work of art almost brought a tear to my eye. I give this masterpiece a 100000000/10.

Its so amazing how cartoonists know how to work these things into their strips flawlessly, and he started earlier this week! Great job, Lincoln! Happy birthday, Charles. We all miss you. As Nate said, thanks for everything.

Ok lincon pierce. Please comment here. Since i saw this strip, i have a theory. In peanuts this girl, lucy is in love with a guy called schroeder, but he isnt, he hates her. In big nate, nate is in love with jenny but jenny hates him. Is it only coincidence?
