Oooh, surprised but pleased to see the story line continue today. Love Puck’s floofy tail, Lupin being protective and of course Elvis being Elvis. That last panel is awesome! Snerking, singing mice, and Georgia’s signature :)

Elvis has a present…

I’m pretty sure Tommy’s nose smells like peppermint hot cocoa with extra whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles.

Somehow Pucky is even more adorable when he’s poofy. I still think he looks like a squirrel when he does that. :D

Some edits to the original version, and they’re good edits. I like how Elvis says you were wrong about Tommy. And Puck has the poofed tail in panel 1, but he comes around.

Puck’s tail poof is amazing. I’m so glad Georgia found a way to fit part of the story into the Sunday strip. She even managed to include a few new things, like the snerks and the mouse carolers. Oh, look! Elvis has a wrapped box! And is he actually smiling?

I love the Robber Mice singing in the background!

My sweet Pucky gets me every time! From his floofy tail to his shy posturing in the second-to-last panel, truly he is compete perfection! (Okay, so maybe I am slightly biased, black cats have always been my favorite.)The final panel is beyond amazing… Elvis is so cute with the little present and that sweet look on his face (love seeing that softer side of our usually so hardened journalist). And the girls in the background all in their holiday best! Super cute!What a wonderful Christmas gift Georgia has given us! ❤

There’s nothing better than snerking together on the Catmas eve, eh, catties?

The last panel is what Christmas is all about: Friendship. From now on I’m always going to sing those lyrics to that song. And Pucky is such a gentlecat, “Do you mind if I smell your nose?”

The Woman is so confused in panel 2, their “best little backyard buddy”, indeed! But now he is!!

I love our Cat of Adventure protecting Pucky, and Pucky pondering what Elvis is saying in panel 5, before saying he’s not sure how he feels. I love how sensitive he is. I’d like to ask my fellow cat lovers a question off topic if I may without causing any issues. I miss having a cat in my life, it’s been over a year, but I’ve moved from a house to a one room apartment. I live alone, am still working and don’t know if it’s really fair to a cat to be left alone all day with nothing to do or someone else to play with. Unfortunately, I really can’t afford 2 cats. Your thoughts?? Merry Catmas Eve to our Reporters, Georgia & family and to my BCN family!

Best Christmas Ever!

This was so cleverly done. As a huge fan of the original run of this story, I wondered how Georgia would adapt it to fit the newspaper format, not just editing for length, but also to make the Sunday panels stand alone if people only get the Sunday paper. It must have been very difficult to pull off, and was done beautifully.

One of the first story arcs that I read when I discovered BCN awhile back and still one of my favorites. Perfect Christmas story. Love happy endings. The only other one I love more is the shelter cats strip. If that one doesn’t make you tear up, you have no emotion.

I was sitting at my computer desk, holding Tika with my left arm, when Sunny decided he wanted some cuddles too… so he jumped up on my right shoulder.

…and there I sat, with a cat in each arm, and Tika didn’t hiss at Sunny! She would never have allowed Sparky that close. I sat like that until Sunny had enough cuddles and hopped off.

Cat’s sleep a lot during the day…if you’re still working outside the home have you thought about getting a middleaged cat? I wouldn’t get a kitten—but a cat from rescue program will give that cat a home and both of you a companion. Get several scratching posts for your apartment and leave a music radio station going and the cat isn’t alone.

I’m watching The Hallmark Movie Channel yule log. In addition to great Christmas music, they’re alternating groups of puppies and kittens playing with the packages. And now they’ve got piglets.
