The girl is a budding artist. Momcat is overjoyed by the portrait in a heart. It could be worse. I once left one of those little Avon lipstick samples in a pocket of light colored pants. My mom didn’t discover it until she took the load of light colored clothes out of the dryer and found them covered in melted red blotches.
Its hard to be mad at The Girl when you see what a wonderful message she sent to her family on the vanity mirror! Elvis and Puck definitely approve her message!
That’s a picture of Elvis. The shape of the face with the Siamese triangles of fur around the neck or whatever gives it away. Puck’s face would have been round.
Pleased to see the proper use of lipstick by a young female. Paint the walls not your face. Here is to both the boy and the girl finding their routes to creativity and avoiding the pitfalls of stereotyping.
My older cats are quite creative in their use of wallpaper, all the younger generation is interested in is FOOD (human and cat).
Elvis has a dramatic change of mood from panel 2 (open-mouth horrified) to 4 (thrilled) when he recognizes the drawing of himself on the mirror. And, what with the alphabet being fairly new to the Girl, “MOM MOM” may have been intended to read, “MOW MOW.”
Time for the daily update on the BCN game! It’s got one level, a title screen, a map screen, a progression system, and tons of other things! I also have some ideas for bonus levels- one in each world. An auto runner level with Beatrix and an outside level with Tommy.
Good news from Tommy’s Woman on her Facebook page:
“Tommy’s biopsy came back fine, he just got his stitches taken out yesterday, his few teeth left are doing great so all in all looks like our happy boy is on the mend! Now he’s really starting to show his age I think though, little squawky old man.”
My dad used to print up the bulletins for the church on an old mimeograph machine in our basement. He had something called carbon-tetrachloride. I knew it as Carbona. Cleaned dang near anything.

By Joe Raposo, sung by Karen Carpenter and others: Sing a Song
Sing
Sing and draw
Sing out loud, draw loud and bold!
Sing of good things, not bad
Draw bright red, don’t be sad!
…….
Sing
Sing and draw,
Make it joyous, you never can go wrong!
Don´t worry that you must soon clean up, just make your message clear!
Just sing,
Sing and draw!
…….La La La La La La
La La La La La La
La La La La La La
…….Sing sing and draw!
Mom and cats, sing along!
Sing of love bright, unfurled,
Sing for all of the world!
Sing a song.
Make it joyous, you never can go wrong!
Don´t worry that you must soon clean up, just make your message clear!
Just sing,
Sing and draw!

And Now, Earth, Wind and Fire’s Sing a Song
When you feel down and out
Sing and draw (no walls of gray) yeah, yeah
You, it’s the time to shout, and write
Sing and draw (red is today) yeah
Sometimes lipstick is everywhere
Sing and draw (the cats know the way)
A lipstick smile to share
Sing and draw (no white or gray) yeah, oh no
Sing and draw (sing and, sing and, sing and, sing and, sing and draw)
Sing and draw (sing and, sing and, sing and, sing and, sing and draw)
Sing and draw (sing and, sing and, sing and, sing and, sing and draw)
…….
Sing and draw (sing a, sing a, sing a, sing)
Paint the walls with lipstick
Sing and draw (no walls of gray) yeah
Cleaning up is such a neat trick, oh yeah
(It’ll make a way)
Give yourself what you need
Sing and draw (it’ll make your day) yeah, yeah
Smile, smile, smile and draw
Sing and draw (the cats know the way) a song, now
Sing and draw (sing and, sing and, sing and, sing and, sing and draw)
Sing and draw (sing and, sing and, sing and, sing and, sing and draw)
Sing and draw (sing and, sing and, sing and, sing and, sing and draw)
Sing and draw (sing and, sing and, sing and, sing)
Sing and draw
Sing and draw
Sing and draw
Sing and draw
If you sing and draw today
You will make a better way
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Oh, I’ve been thinking ’bout misfortune
And I’ve decided that you’re really not to blame
For the love that’s deep inside us now is still the same
And the fun we have together
Is the music to the story in your eyes
It’s been shining down upon us now, I realize
Listen to the rag slowly turning
Washing your artwork away
It’s part of our talent that is burning
And from the ashes we can draw another day
Oh, I’m thankful for our children
And the cats living here suspect we are insane
Just when sunshine we’ve been waiting for returns again
Oh, when the final line is over
And it’s certain we need a curtain for the wall
I’ll recall in time all the sweet, sweet love forever more
