The blob is doing much better now. Kenny? Not so.

Reminds of that great sci-fi horror movie from the 50’s, The Creeping Unknown, part of the Quartermass trilogy.

Many people resist change at first. Once it happens, it often feels fine.

“Oh my God, they killed Kenny!” Or did they just absorbed him?

Interesting that the blob changed color when the metamorphosis was complete.

It IS complete, isn’t it??

Should’ve just wiped it off.

You learn new things everyday. Immature blobs start life a soft pink, upon maturity they become sea green. Tomorrow’s episode features the mating rituals of the donut and cruller planet.

a blob turns you into a pickle ?

Is he channeling Buddy (John Astin) from Night Court? “……but I’m feeling MUCH better now.”

You have to admire the little nurse’s cap on the robot. In real life, nurses don’t wear those things anymore.

Wonder who would win in a fight between the Thing and the Blob?

This would have made a little more sense if the blob didn’t radically change color.

Hang it all, Rickard! How many times do we have to tell you to make your comic strip make sense? Everything makes perfect sense, then you go and change the color of the blob. What were you thinking??? This used to be a happy place.

Problem solved. The infection became the host.

Not sure what the big fuss is about the blob changing color. It could just be a natural part of the creature’s biology as it grows, like a piece of fruit ripening.

What I’d really like to know is why they haven’t issued Ensign Kenny a red shirt.

Red shirts never come back. Kenny, like Winky, always returns.
