Hard to operate a business this way, it will be very interesting to see how much longer he can pull it off.

If we’re talking money, I assume Bookie means 20 Large. So, Measles’ half would be 10 Gees. And he has “most of it”? He’s hard by eating Arnie’s lead (or so it would be with the gang dealers of Chicago)…. Or are we talking, instead, the stuff, such as 20 bags, or 20 bricks?

With all apologies to Dr Sid1.. NUMBER ELEVEN!! lol! i dont get this whole measles angle… but i am sure that team tracy will tie it together nicely in due time. has measles ALWAYS been “sick” or is that a ruse to whoever the guy outside the car is (arnie?) to throw him off the track of measles using his own goods?

There’s no future in not having your half. That koff is the least of Measles’ worries.

Very fine art today. Notice Measles’ reflection in the rear view mirror as we look over his shoulder. Wonderful attention to detail. Also, views of characters from inside vehicles is very Gould-like.

Good morning VB and welcome back margueritem (nice Halloween-ish cat avatar BTW)! I’m having trouble guessing who’s buying and who’s selling but I’m sure if it is important we’ll find out soon.

Good Morning Detectives!Measles and Bookie aren’t going to last long as partners (and with a comment like that, I should rename myself “Captain Obvious”)

We await with anticipation the next appearance of the Lovely Lunar Laser Lass, aka the Blonde Babe in Thigh High Boots, aka the Alien Hottie. Whatever you call her, we wanna see her!

Agree with Otto’s comment. Also, Gould’s style was more 2D, while Staton’s modern style, comic book influenced, naturally 3D. I don’t remember Measles from classic Tracy, have to look up. In the meantime, where is Moon Maid already?

Mamma mia, but I have a major hankering to see Mysta again, too. What is it about this dame, anyway? Glad to see I’m not the only one with “Moon Maid Madness”!!

all you “moonies” are beginning to worry me! lol! on snother note, since we’ve seen the MAJORITY of “mrs. tracy’s” (moon maid and sparkle) where in the world is TESS?!?!?! she hasnt shown up since dick was taken away from Panda’s place in an ambulance WEEKS ago. and as for the “female variety” of tracy’s… i CANT WAIT to see bonnie braids again! the last time i saw her was when Junior was born! with luck, the “revived team tracy” will go with that version of her instead of the one used by locher. oh and for the record.. someone was complaining about being picked on.. two things for you sunshine.. “turnabout is fair play” and “you reap what you sow”.

Good morning everyone. I wonder how B.O. visiting family, and Sparkle staying with Gravel while he is away ties into the story. An opportunity for Mysta to come face to face with Junior Tracy? Perhaps Moon Maid will reappear this Sunday.

Interesting observations today, SDM. I looked at that hand you mentioned quite carefully, and I don’t see why it couldn’t be Bookie’s hand on the steering wheel. Sometimes comic art is a bit “compressed” to fit everything into a scene, but that looks like Bookie is resting his hand on the top of the wheel, don’t you think?

Or possibly resting his knuckles on the dashboard?

Then again, these ARE criminals. Even if the car’s in motion, why bother with the seat beat in the first place?

I see bad things about to happen to Arnie. If Measles can’t cough up (forgive me) the cash, and Arnie tries to call off the deal…

I read stories quite often in the newspaper about a car or truck being stopped on a local interstate for a headlight or tail light out, or even worse yet, travelling way faster than the posted speed. Upon investigation, some of these same cars have a trunkfull of drugs, or some other such offense. Invariably, many of these are also cited for no insurance or suspended licence, etc. One would think that these offenders would not want to draw attention to themselves, either. Then again, if intelligence was a strong suit, they may steer clear of criminal activities all together. I don’t think that I would try to insinuate that Mike or Joe goofed by not putting seatbelts on criminals.

About seat-belts, how old is the car? There are cars out there that only have lap belts in them. Can we prove that they aren’t wearing a lap belt?
