It is FREAKIN OFFICIAL, Gunther is either gay, a wimp, or is a coward infatuated with someone else. I hate being wrong, but this boy has officially crossed into pathetic territory! He is faking a smile after the hug, and not even bothering to fake a smile during the kiss. What is wrong with him? If I was a lesbian, I would be thrilled silly if Rosa kissed me on the cheek!

At least Quill and Luann are having fun. Rosa needs a new dude.

Gunther does not look like he’s going to throw up! He looks pleasantly surprised at the fact that he was kissed by a beautiful girl, Rosa and that it wasn’t as difficult as he had expected. I strongly suspect he will follow that kiss up with one of his own on Rosa’s cheek…or lips. Obviously, Quill could see the kiss on his iphone via ‘facetime’ or whatever the program is called. That’s why he called ‘strike’…..

As for 9 Chick Lane, what about doing an end run over McE’s “comments disabled” shtick and run a comment thread on his strip here, along with the one on Luann. I bet his shpiel would draw a lot of comments, not the least of which is his annoying no-dialog single panel strips co-starring that Solange cat.^^Yeah. Chickweed was my favorite strip until McD began doing all those silent artistic strips…like you, I hate the cat ones the most; he should really concentrate on Edda & Amos’ relationship…. and kill off that cat (Who must be getting VERY old, by this time)- In case you wonder, Luann is my fave strip now.

All I can think of off the top of my head is the bowling ball on top of Gunther with the plus signs in his eyes and one of the boys saying OMG they killed Gunther!^^Now THAT is an idea I can work with!!! :D

On a serious note, here is Slate’s description of the person believed to have killed the 20 young children. The description sounds incredibly like Gunther^^Wow! It does!!!

Geez, thisis carrying the Gunther “shyness” a llittle too far – into the ridiculous category. It is just too exhaggerated. Even the worst nerd or shyest boy iin my high school days knew how to accept a kiss without completely falling apart. Even I am surprised at how many people just assume that everyone should react to any given situation the way they would, and that something is wrong with them if they don’t. I already knew there were people like that, but now I’m a bit dismayed.

Gunther is just shy and nervous. I think he looks pleasantly surprised by the peck on the cheek.And anyway, it’s only the funnies – lighten up!

Well I happen to love the cat and silent artistic strips. Gee I don’t know maybe there are just too far over your head for you to understand them.^^I do understand them, I just don’t like them; and I absolutely hate the cat ones (I’m a dog person, I don’t care about the quirks of cats, in fact, those quirks are the main reasons i’d NEVER have a cat)
