@Gweedo – It’s legal here !!! – Murray… and for anyone interested who missed it, you can read the story about Yvonne Craig’s final illness on the Google cache of it — the whole entry from her family and the official obit. Just read it and don’t click on the links. Her website is overwhelmed. I threw up a few pictures at the end of yesterday’s comments.

Sam doesn’t look to comfortable with that rifle, and if he fires it while holding it like that he could do himself an injury. :-)

Day two of two-panel action is a hit! Sam has Tracy’s back. BB-Eyes was not so lucky. But his hat is unscathed. Doubleup brought a whip to a gun fight, which may have saved him from being ventilated.

I have this feeling that Mellies, Venus and Apollo are no longer in the building. what did they say about rats and sinking ships?Mellies would likely know the existence of a hidden escape route and used it after he got the raid alarm.

I also would like to add that I admire Sam’s adherence to his green hat.-——————————————-I wonder if Sam’s hat is going to be a casualty.I have to admire their dedication to the dress code, still wearing their neckties.

If Mumbles gets shot, will anyone be able to understand his final words?

Durn, I guess the ladder really is just a ladder. How mundane. I was hoping Tracy had stashed an air car away in hiding or something.

That is one mighty weapon Sam is wielding there. I don’t think I’d like to fire a weapon I have to cradle in my arms. Great strip, keep it up, wow!

I must admit that, after waiting almost two months for Tracy to show up, I’m disappointed that he doesn’t have his hat! These action scenes just cry out for him to be wearing his iconic fedora while the action is taking place!

Rather ‘amazing’ - that Mumbles shoots at Tracy (from “point blank range”) and misses ! ?

B-B Eyes was ‘punched out’ by Tracy in the new Mr. Crime saga (2012) and taken into custody by Sam. All the others save (earlier escaping) Blaze took a shot.Guess, it was B-B Eyes’ ‘turn’ this year ! ?

Maybe TIME for him to ‘move on’ and out . . . ?Re-launched from a 1942 watery grave - on July 2, 2011, he’s been on these pages in a ‘prominent’ manner every year since !It’s easy to observe that we have become ‘too accustomed’ to his face !Would be good to see Fresh New Faces emerging ! ?

As fredville more ‘politely’ hinted (above), Mike and Joe have shown, that they are quite capable of creating new villains, that can ‘proudly stand’ alongside the ‘memorable’ ones, that have gone before.

Much as I suspected, BB-Eyes, who was itching to shoot and did shoot first, has been the first one shot; one of the sub-machineguns, probably Dick’s, has cut him down. I do not expect him to get back up. And, yes, Mumbles is iffy, firing, but still with a chance to drop it, as Tracy commands, before he is shot. Sam’s order to DoubleUp to back off should be heeded, if the whipmaster’s mind is engaged, and maybe DoubleUp will realize that it’s the smart thing to do. But if the “fog of war” has rattled his thinking and he tries to use his whip, either Sam or Tracy will shoot him down.And that’s just the third floor!

I just did a speed read of the comments, and as soon as I hit SUBMIT I’ll go back and read all of them. I think it’s typical bad criminal behavior to be shooting as an officer of the law and at the same time demanding constitutional rights. Dick Tracy could save the tax payers a lot of money if he would put a whole bunch of holes in Mumbles, cuff him and then through him out that window.
